The Notes

Music, it puts people's thoughts into the air,

With a little zing, adding their own flair.

Takes me to another place,

Where there are no problems to lace.

It's a magical thing,

Makes my head zoom around in rings.

It makes impassible rivers crossable.

Lets me believe anything is possible;

Puts new colors we've never seen on the walls.

Music can pick me up anytime I may fall.

When life hurts, I put the ear buds on,

All the pain is withdrawn.

So what makes my mind go wild?

Any song that's made beguiled.

It's the beats, the notes,

It covers my life like a coat.
