Notes

Words written on paper

with a cheerful meaning

bring the feeling of life

and an irrepressible smile.

Page after page

written with a fabricated pen

and filled with broken promises

          staining the paper.

Kept in a drawer,

hidden away,

pushed aside,

always in sight.

Memories missed,

moments remembered.

Lessons for a lifetime.
