Nothing

Always walking down the dark path,

Familiarized with every detail.

Nothing new

Nothing old

Just the silent footsteps,

Of a broken soul.

No one hears her cries

No one sees her struggles

Her broken soul follows the darkness,

Aimlessly walking to a destination unknown.

Nothing new

Nothing old

The dark embraces her,

Chilling her to the bone.

No one hears her plead

No one sees her fall

She helplessly fuses with the dark,

While another broken soul shows,

Infected with the same dreaded mark,

Replacing her footsteps with his own.

Nothing new

Nothing old

Just the silent footsteps,

Of a broken soul.
