Nothing
I need the burning kiss of the sun
I need the enticing gaze of the earth
I need the swaying hum
Of all that is alive
In the silence
I need the faded illusion of time
I need to feel the life of what
Is all around me
Of the quiet pulsing
In the silence
I need the firm earth beneath me
I need to breathe with the wind
I need to be alive instead
Of shutting out my mind
In the silence
I need to move about and twirl around
I need to dance until I die
I need to find the steady beat
Of the melody
In the silence
