Nothing

So many homes but homeless

So much love yet I hold none

So much time and too much despair

It creeps again in the night

That cancer of self-doubt

Treated and now returns

Alone this time the fear grows

Tears grow I feel them swell

Like an ocean they will sweep me away

I got what I wanted, I got what I lost

I got the love, I got the hurt

Body broken and cannot fight

Mind endlessly searching full of doubt

Is this what it is about

Knowing so much that means so little

Caring for others to avoid caring for me

Have I come that full circle is it time to rot

I hold little hope on this day

I see nothing hear nothing think nothing

I am nothing this day
