Nothing

The mist overtakes me As I open up my eyes. The green trees sway with ambition Where the holy oak must lie. The raccoons scatter Across the tree bark and leaves. The squirrels and their chatter Cover up all my screams. And in all that beauty Through all the wonderful glory All my pain and my gain They all spin Until there’s nothing. Nothing is left, in that beautiful world. There is no darkness, and no light I feel no beauty, I feel no disgust. Nothing, I am numb.
