NOTHING TO GAIN
Nothing To Gain
Anger and pain I've harbored for so long,
Its like a old sad love song ,
Shooting from grieve to sorrow,
From crying to weeping,
Slashed by betrayal,
Its a love a hate with a nasty stain that
Don't wash away ,
Pierced with mockery, and
Lost to the dark world of hatred.
Nights are cold and the days are gray
On a silver platter I slayed my heart,
To and old stain with much pain and nothing
To gain but heartaches and lots of rain ,
Melting my dreams like a burning candle,
Blowing away in night air;
I need for breathing don't you see walk away from me ,
I cried and I cried for this pain to die that I hold within,
My heart is hollow with a stain of pain you gave ,
I must let this hurt be wash at sea and maybe someone
Good will find me .
