Nothing Here to Hear Us
Tides roll in and push us out
Nothing here to hear us shout
Glowing fires take the dawn
We are now as Nature's pawn.
We wonder, wander, dream and dare,
Awake to find life's open stare
Blind us in paralysis
With no time for analysis
Nothing, no one,
Something, anyone
A desperate cry without direction
Lust and desire, no affection
Hell's first kiss
Upon our wrist
Tides roll in and push us out
Nothing here to hear us shout
