Nothing to Manipulate

A celestial light

Shined bright

Like a light beam

In an ethereal dream

A dream of spectrums

Of ideal perfections

But slowly did the heavenly dream begin to fade

With all the perfection it made

Converting into dark nightmares

Nightmares of subtle tyranny and fears

The darkness consuming the precious light that made a home in me

Locked away in dark space for eternity

Like eternal emptiness of the Universe and its black holes

Everyday engulfing innocent souls

Like a vacuum

A vacuum that could only consume the small drops of life left inside of me

And turned them into shadowy phantoms in my small body

All that was left was a silhouette almost extraterrestrial

Like a dark spectral shadow of my former self

But through the translucent being

Deep in its core I was seeing

An evanescent sight

A sight that no longer showed the crescent light

The dark had an attraction to the light

Where it was the terminator

The ruling dominator

And sadly

There was no liberator

But without light

The darkness would have nothing to take

Nothing to break

And nothing to manipulate
