Nothing To Me
Could I bear
My own sins
Could I carry
My own truth
Can I handle
What you
Say about me
The lies
The tar
That covers me
Can you handle me
And what you see
When you get a peek
What's underneath
Can you believe
In what
You can't see
You whisper
Behind backs
Because you're too scared
To say it
To our faces
Hypocrite
That's all you are
You live with scars
All over your heart
Just like me
And the person behind me
You are shaking
Terrified
You'll be exposed
What difference does it make now
Now that we all know
We're all twisted
And wrong
You could be
Something worth something
If you weren't wasting your breath
Chasing me
If you knew
How to live a life
Outside the stain
Of rumors
So tell me
Does it make you feel good
Better
Does it taste good
On your tongue
Do you sleep
With ease
Knowing
You will always be
Nothing to me
