Nothing but a Memory

I can't keep holding on

To something I'm going to lose.

Because once it's gone

It's going to be hard

I'm not going to know what to do

Without you.

Gone

Nothing but a memory

Sure you won't forget me

But I can't see you

Or talk to you.

Everything will be different

There is no saving this.

I wish there was a way

To keep it the same,

Go back to the old days.

But we cannot.

And now

It's nothing but a memory.
