Nothing More to Learn

When will come the day

When we know everything there is to know

When there’s NOTHING more to learn

Every book will be written

We’ll be bored by the repetition

Of what’s left of life (what’s left of life?)

We’re just left with time

We have nothing left to fill the empty spaces

The voids

This choice

Is what it’s all boiled down to

If there is nothing more to learn

Than what will we tell our children

There is nothing more to explore

No new discoveries of this earth

We are bound to what we know

And we have nothing more to learn

Do you break the news

You have a new idea to bring to the table

Listen to the laughter

Hear the chatter

But one who agrees

Believes

There’s a new age we still have to live

Not just a Hundred

A thousand

Simple minded

Don’t listen

As well as they used to

 The new is old

So quickly

Technology is just antiquity

It is nothing to us anymore

Knowledge not a privilege

Just another taken for granted

Something we don’t remember

We don’t wonder

We know all there is to know

There is NOTHING more to Learn
