Nothing in Return

What you said was a lie.

Me, loving you,

endlessly loving you,

For what?

What have I gained from you?

Betrayal, hurt confusion...

And so I ask

Why?

Why did I fall in love with you?

God plays tricks on me...

On my heart...

How?

How can it hurt so much?

Bullets piercing me

Again and again

For what?

What you said was a lie.
