Nothing is the same

As you walk through the shadow,

I watch you walk step by step,

Until all I see is black

Nothing is ever the same

Passion lies in my heart

It beats intensely with your sound

looking out at this empty space

where we used to talk all day

The empty space holds itself

Pain and agony sits inside

Where have you gone today

Nothing will be the same

You have gone to better things

our lives have changed drastically

through all the darkness and shade

your light takes it all away

The shadow has disappeared

our memories stand strong

the light has now appeared

We live our lives happily and long.
