Nothing Scares Me More
You give me
Too much of you
Nothing I say
Or do
WIll save us
When this ship
Goes under
I'm swimming
Best I can
Treading only gets you so far
But I'm only human
And I'm sinking
And you can't hear me
When you walk away
You can't hear me say
I love you
But I'm not any good for you
You're good
The best I know
The best I've ever had
It kills me
To leave you
But can't you see
Can you feel this
This fear in me
Swelling
I can't take it
When you look at me like that
With those eyes
I love you
You know I do
But when we're older
You'll get it
When I said
Nothing is ever that easy
And love
Isn't free
And always comes with a price
A cost
Too high to pay
I don't mean
To hurt you
I hate seeing the pain
In your eyes
Your hand
Reaching out for me
Will forever haunt my dreams
But you don't hear it
The screams
The pain
If you knew
I'd tell you
If I knew how to
But nothing scares me more
Then you
