From Nothing to Something (My Own Path)

Living life as a poor kid

Needed shoes and clothes but momma couldn't afford it

A meal was never guaranteed cause dad deserted us

In my mind I thought, why you always keep hurtin us

Hurtin us with this lying, deserting us with this leaving

You said I should love you but just give me a reason

People committing crimes and crimes thats called treason

Betrayal is worst than death so why is my heart still beatin'

It's beatin' cause I have reason, we all just need it reason to

Life is full of struggles everyone is so seasonal

Just like the Nike slogan gotta just do it

Life is like a game if you don't play it then it's useless

So just use it to the max or get maxed out

Im tryna go these twelve rounds like Pacquio

Life is just a fight so I could never back down I'm just sick of getting milked like a cash cow.
