nothing stops

nothing stops. the world keeps moving.

when you're day is crap. the world is still there

life still demands you, even when darkness fills your sky

things don't stop when loved ones die, life keeps on.

your sadness doesn't affect the natural happenings

deadlines are still due, classes must still be taken

sadness is no longer an excuse to leave the real world.

humans cannot afford such luxaries as being sad.

so we bottle up our emotions, our sadness, our lives

because nothing stops
