Nothing To Look Forward To Anymore
Every morning I wake up and count:
Four days until I see you.
Then three, then two, then one,
And then you'll be here.
I should be happier to see you,
I truly am excited,
But more than that?
I'm scared,
I'm so scared.
Because once you leave,
I won't have anything to look forward to anymore.
You made getting out of bed so much easier,
But after you leave,
I don't know if I will be able to get up anymore.
