Nothing Will Ever Happen to Me
Nothing will ever happen to me.
I go on,
no consequences,
no responsibilities.
Except there are.
It's too late, isn't it,
to get away.
What draws us to it?
It's a perpetual motion,
a wanted,
but never did.
It'd burn our lifetimes out-
they know it destroys
responsibilities and consequences.
You're a burden,
nothing but yellowed paper,
all by your lonesome.
