Nothing Without
The screaming, the yelling, the palm to my face,
But a teacher I could never replace.
The strict rules, the curfews and all things a bore,
But an amazing leader, no she is more.
The nurturer, the provider, the one who brings in the bank,
That’s why she is the only one to thank.
We fight, we makeup, I cry and pout,
But my MOTHER is the one thing that I can’t live without.
