Nothing Without You

You were the first person I ever saw

You were the first person to ever hold me

You were the first person to shower me with kisses

You were the first person to ever love me

You were the first person to hug me

You were the first person to comfort me when I fell down to my knees

You were the first person to take my pain away and for that I need you

I could not go on without you

I could not survive alone

You are my rock when things get bumpy

You are the one who birthed me

And who will help me through this world
