Nothing Without You

I hate who I am without you,

Lifeless and purposeless.

I fail again and again

Because I try to please the world

Instead of pleasing my creator

He who created the world.

Vanity of vanities, what is it for?

Everything is meaningless

It just scratches the surface

It never reaches the core.

I am nothing without you

Because in you I find who I am

What am I supposed to do without you Lord

Keep breaking down this spirit, this soul.

In you I find my rest,

From this torment, from this hell.

I love you,

Because in your love I find the will to love myself.
