Nothings Going to Change

All drifting in the wind

The soft sweep

Of … my life.

Nothings gonna change my world

But then you came along

Nothings gonna change my world

You broke my heart

And changed my world

You loved cruelly

You made your way

Across the path

Of my love.

Nothings gonna change my world

But then you came along

Nothings gonna change my world

Your different shades of red.

Hot red or fiery orange

They burned me.

Child I could rule you

Nothings gonna change my world

But then you came along.

Nothings gonna change my world

I could rule all day

But I choose to be with you

Because you changed my world

Because you changed my world

My best friend told me she wants to write poetry- I didn't tell her that I love to write also- but its something we share. However she did tell me to write a book and dedicate it to her... I think it will be a poetry book mmmhhh?
