Nothing's perfect

I am lying here covered

in a veil now despaired

the silent remains

of a love we once shared

I am lying here thinking

about you where you are

the sweet precious memory

but now you’re too far

tell me why, that is all

I just need to know

why you chose to give up

and let yourself go

I am here you are there

we are now worlds apart

nothing makes sense

but this blue bleeding heart.
