Notice
Dear the one who matters the most,
I have witnessed it all since the beginning. You have sacrificed your happiness, freedom and fun for the family, but I am here to tell you that it is not necessary at all. You put off spending time with your friends, working on projects that you believe will benefit you in your future career and have made the family your priority. I have noticed that you can’t sleep well at night and you are always tired, even when you try your best to hide it. You have three jobs, maintain a 3.5 gpa in college and still find the energy to come home and clean up after everyone’s mess. You don’t complain to the family, but we do notice that you need some help once-in-a-while. You are an amazing young woman, you keep everyone on their toes and I mean everyone; family, friends, co-workers. You even manage to brighten the day of faculty members and your bosses. You may feel washed out often but no one can compare to you in the way you make everyone feel welcomed and important. Now, what I do have to say is the one thing I despise about you, the fact that you do not realize who you truly are. You take so much pride in our family and in the ones you love, but you forget to stick up for yourself. You’re the oldest of four siblings you are a strong woman, but when it comes to being strong for yourself, you lack the confidence and I believe it I because you lack confidence in yourself. You do not see what everyone else sees, you are a young, amazing and intelligent 20-year-old woman with a huge heart and you have so much potential that you will make something of yourself. Not only do I hope that you notice who you truly are for the sake of your future, but for the sake of your happiness.
With much love,
Jasmine (the one who matters the most)Dear the one who matters the most,
