No one ever notices when you're trying to become a better you

But everyone sees when you're angry

I left that dark place and old me, but still

Everyone wants to see me there, I don't know why

I hate it there..

No one ever notices when you're doing well

But everyone sees when you're doing poorly

I like the light and the sun

And everyone wants me back in that dark place

I don't know why..

I've been doiing good, smiling bright

Which no one ever sees

I don't want a medal or an award

I want acknowledgement

A glance, a look, a stare..
