Now
You knocked on my door, and I said no,
but now that I've opened the door to let you in,
I find that I'm the one knocking now.
It's been a while now, and I said never,
but now that I see you for who you are
I see that I need you more now than ever.
Sometimes I say that I'll walk away,
leave like nothing, like the nothing we have,
but now I find that I can't let you go.
You told me you'd make me love you,
I shook my head and said not now,
but now it's me telling you, I love you.
I confused loss of words for loss of way,
but now there's so much more I want to say.
Please stay, I can't live without you.
