NOW

now;

that I have become,

somewhat of an old age rock star

in looking for my age.

but there is one thing

that concerms me though;

in this the prime of my life,

the grey matter,

it isn't what she used to be!

just trying to remember when

and if at all it did happen in the past,

for me and my old fella,

now having lots of trouble;

in having an attention spurt,

for it comes and goes in twinges.

having terrible moments,

of contemplating past events;

always loosing keys

car keys must be the worst.

and can't figure out

what comes next?

as for the next event;

of what's on the almanac.

for if I knew better,

and I would bet you a lottery ticket,

that bloody mobile telephone

likes playing hide-go-seek,

and would bite me on the foot

when it rears its ugly head.

and the thing that scares me most,

are the application forms;

gathering dust,

on the dining room table

for admittance for me,

to an Alzheimers college on the coast.
