A gap, an abyss, my spirit amiss

Restraints & controls so tight

So far from your light

The depths above; your fathomless love

An olive branch in the mouth of a dove

The depths below, the hell I know, way down I go

Anchors that keep me where I don't wanna' be

Walls so steep I can't even see

Your breakers & waves have washed over me

Can it be bridged? Can it be broken?

Actions not taken? Curses ill-spoken?
