Now I know

It was that time when I turned my back and realized that I am alone in this big, scary world. Never did I know that I am the only one who is here for myself. Never did I know that I cannot depend on others. Never did I know that growing-up means that I have to lose my friends. Never did I know that growing-up can cause too much pain and suffering. Never did I know that I will be matured so early. Never did I know that I have to take care of babies that aren't mine. Never did I know that I have to be responsible for all my actions and words. But now I know, now I know that I am me, and now I know why I have to be a grown-up so early. Now I know.
