Now I Understand

Thinking about you used to make me feel good,

now it just makes everthing hurt.

I used to be so in love with you

and if you weren't so you maybe things could work,

but you are you.

You say you don't know if you see us having a future,

to take things one day at a time.

It used to hurt but now I understand.

Everyday you broke my heart and at night you did the same,

but sometimes you'd give me sweet kisses and make love to me.

You destroyed me and you knew you were doing it,

but you didn't care.
