Now that I'm Wiser
When I was young…
I lived in a small city named Columbus, OH
I went to Today’s Child for daycare and East Columbus for school
I dreamed to be a family doctor for others
I believed everything I had dreamed would happen
I needed guidance on how to act my age
I wanted to stop all of my reckless ways
I loved dancing to all the hip hop songs
I sang all the songs from Big Time Rush
I enjoyed watching Big Time Rush all the time
I thought that I would be a kid forever, I was naive
I befriended a good friend for all of my bad ways
I saw my new friends switch on me like my old friends said
When I was younger
I read a book named “The Boy Who Cried, Wolf”
I wished that there were more books like that
I ate 24/7 like it was going to go somewhere
I followed my dreams of being considerate of others
I had a favorite dog and I loved him
I used to play a school like all my bears were my students
When I was younger
Now that I’m older
I live in my home city, Cassady Columbus, Oh
I go to a school in Columbus, Oh called East High School
I dream that in four years that I would have my own business
I believe that if I follow my heart, I will be successful
I need to be more judicious in the decisions that I make
I want to be more independent and make more prudent decisions
I love how my life is starting I am happy
I sing so that others can hear me out on what I say
I enjoy being around positive people
I know that I can get a lot done with faith
I am friends with my old friends that I switched on before
I see myself walking across the stage saying that I made it
Now that I’m wiser
I read a college letter saying that I made it
I wish school didn’t slap me in my face so quickly
I eat healthy to better the life that I’m about to get
I follow my dreams that I thought I would never have
I favor myself of how I act and how I become
I now have the love for everyone and appreciate the great
Now that I’m older and wiser
