Like is now Love and Love but all Gone

People these days are caught up in the wishy washy 

They think love is all wishy-washy washy wishy

They think love is the emotions you feel 

Yet those emotions are not real

For emotions sway and move like currents in the sea 

A relationship based on those emotions sink 

Deep down to the bottom of the sea

They don't see love is a full-time commitment 

It ain't instant gratification for a minute

It's a commision to stay strong in the face of danger

It's a charge to fight through the temptations of your nature

When things become hard don't divorce, break up, or call it off

You don't back down and say "it got too hard for me to stay"

You don't get gutless you gotta get courageous

You got to have the courage to get through the carnage

You got to walk the straight and narrow path together forever

That's real love the love that stays and never goes away

You can only suppress it and blind it and stuff it in the pocket of your pride

They think love is the feeling in your stomach when you see somebody

But it ain't that

That's just lust
