Now You Know

You look at me and tell me I am beautiful, amazing,

but that I cannot see.

I look at myslef and find a girl who is lost, gazing,

wishing I could love me.

I wish I could see myself the way you say I am,

but it is not that simple and I don't know if I can.

I want to be happy and let go of these thoughts,

they're only hurting myslef.

But if you saw me the way I see me, you would want someone else.

I don't tell you how feel, I keep it in my head.

I laugh, you laugh, but you don't really hear what I said.

It's a silent scream inside of me, a voice that can't get out.

I'll never let you know the truth, it'll never be talked about.

But now we walk and I smile, you say the sweetest words.

Even though I am lost inside myself, I fly away with the birds.

You can find be my the riverside, my feet in the crystal clear.

I didn't get to say goodbye, those thoughts you'll never hear.
