Numb

You walked away It doesn't hurt My palms and knees bleed It doesn't hurt My throat is raw from screaming out your name It doesn't hurt My eyes sting and my vision blurs It doesn't hurt My chest pounds It doesn't hurt My lungs take in short, sharp breaths It doesn't hurt My stomach is filled with violent twists and turns It doesn't hurt My hands dig into the cold, grassy Earth It doesn't hurt Twigs and brambles bite into my skin It doesn't hurt I collapse onto the ground It doesn't hurt My eyes shut and I let the sleepy vines take me It doesn't hurt
