Numb

You should be rejoicing

On the days you feel dread

For it is those who feel nothing

That are actually dead

When nothing excites you

And nothing makes you cry

That's when you should worry

For those are not good signs

I'd rather be mourning

Than emotionlly numb

Because if there's never sadness

Then happiness is reduced to none

Because without the emotion

The days start to blend

And as fast as it began

Your life will soon end
