Numb
The thin razor seems so heavy
It's like I'm becoming weaker and weaker
The more I try to lift my arm, the more I whimper
I just might hold my breath for as long as my body will let me
Or just toss the back of my head against the concrete walls
I know for sure that I am unable to walk
Or even move my feet at all
These chains seem to grow tighter and tighter
Physically, I've given up
But my mentality doesn't know it
I don't have the ability to contain the pain
Nor the understanding capacity to know how to put an end to it
As I'm writing, I'm becoming more and more confused
Why am I so weak?
How did I let another human being take my morality away?
Come to think of it; when have I become so numb?
And how much anger do I have in order to make this struggle worth it?
