Numb

Attacked if I speak Up

Attacked if I don't

Where some of us keep peace,

but most of us won't.

Do I have nothing to say?

Or nothing to feel?

So many of us are numb

towards those forced to kneel.

Hopeless or helpless

is where the line lies

in a world so chaotic

we can't hear the cries.

We sit and we wait

and ignore what's ahead,

scared if we see it

we all might be dead.
