Numb, Calm

I am tuned in, Radio and TVs News of death after death, death Italy, Spain, world grieves in tears Lives claimed by corona, no proper burial Grieve after grieve, grieve. But I am a live! Sad songs passes my ears Musicians given more money, to produce more money They say, stay in and shops closed No entry, jobs lost and boarders closed They pay musician more, to keep us napped Kept in the house, with no food More music, more damn music. But I sing to them! Abyei, more death, Mesiryans Left powerless, can't defend my house Told I don't listen, they cut off my ears, in my house Again, we grieved. Grieve after grieve, grieve More bodies, no concern. There is corona Still asked to stay in, houses burned I want to pick a gun, and stay out. But I still want to live! Nice pen, nice words. Waves moved I wish to swing my pen like she does, Alith Cyer Spank and pin words to your heads, like her A lady from the black land, land ravaged for 21 years Peace still staggers, bellies expanding I need her sword, to kill your minds Coz'i have words! They say there is looks, handsome One they can't find in me, ugly That my heart is weak, can't handle a Maiden They say I can make her a Barbie, and still fail I should pay for it, just pennies Pick and add her in the A-Team, really? Look at the picture below, look. I am smiling! ®Art Arov (MODESTY) April, 14 2020
