Numb hearts

Tue, 06/22/2021 - 07:23 -- wanja

Someone come teach me how to put the devil behind and see the sincerity in her smile,
Make that memory of the Judas' kiss fade into oblivion,
Cleanse my claws of blood dripping from hearts I've torn,
Because-
Dark as night my heart may be...
Dreams of redemption haunt my existence.

I wrote this poem for those people who crave for love but do not know how to love. Those who push their friends away, those who believe they are better on their own even if, when everyone is asleep and all is quiet, they cry their sorry souls to sleep and recognize how lonely they really are.
