The number 5


There was a young boy who complained that the number five was odd and useless his mother head and wanted to teach her son a lesson she sat him down so hold up our hands how many fingers do you have The so rolled his eyes and mumbled five now let's bound your finger she grab cloth and wrapped his finger now write mr s sentence but the boy could not she kept him bounded now wiggle your toes now imagine walking your knees you need your toes for balance try walking without your toes the boy tried laughing at his failed attempts The mother disappeared into the kitchen and brought out honey bread son  you have five sense tasting smelling hearing and feeling you need all those to enjoy the sweetness of the honey the smell the aroma and your little nose to smell perfume the boy nodded in realization sh walked him outside son we have five elements that has shape this very earth dn ground you walk on fire to keep us warm or to see at night wind water that nourishes all that is on this planet earth the sil were flowers and tree grow the spirit mother nature herself watches the things grow but together they make a planet that can sustain life she pointed to the sky and the wind making the trees dance and sway lsat but no least she held his hand love twinning her fingers in his five fingers the boy realized that the number five was a part of their everyday lives
