The Number Five
Oh, Five!
What a time to be alive!
You are the best prime
In this whole life time.
There's not a doubt
You may want to shout
Because you do not get the recognition you want,
But that is okay because I flaunt
You so proudly
On the back of my jersey, Oh, so loudly.
You have such glorious curves
I do not see why you get on others nerves.
You make other numbers jealous
When you wink at their fellas.
Five, Five, Five,
You are so devine!
You are on my fingers and toes,
But not my nose.
That would be silly.
Sometimes when you get chilly
I'll wrap you up in gloves and socks.
Number five, you rock!
You are so important
I'd never want you shortened
Into another number.
That would be a bummer!
