Number One
Always come first,
Never second place, it didn't exist to you
In my book, most things came before you
Always had and always will.
In the beginning, thought the feeling was mutual
We were synonyms, same definition.
Then things came, people came
A priority I thought I was but never was
At least not you
Me, I'm an option, a choice, a last resort
You go through every other possible answer before considering me
I try to understand, make excuses
You have to be sure to choose the right answer
Process of elimination
I'm never right
You eliminate me
Or that's just how I feel
Maybe I'm just the distractor choice.
Now here's a question and I'm not a choice
Can't be eliminated
When will I come first? a) never b) next week c) now d) I don't know
