Numbers

Numbers

Why must age be numbered?

Why must age be counted?

It's just numbers

That's right

Just numbers

2014 is tomorrow

Another year

Another number

Another age

No

I don't want it

Everyone's looking forward to 14

I'm not one of them

I don't want 14

I want 2008 back

With 2014 just hours away

Numbers will turn greater

Ages will turn greater

Pulling me farther

And farther away

Away from the possibility

Of seeing you

Of seeing through to our promise

When 2017 comes, will you be there?

Will you be there with me?

Will you be there for me?

You'll be 70

In 2017

Will you wait

For me

Do you remember me?

Do you remember our promise?

Do you remember my promise?

Please remember

Please wait

Please come

Please see

Please stay

Numbers

Years

Age

It all makes it impossible

I won't see you again will I

Our promise won't happen will it

My promise won't happen

Because of numbers
