Numbers

Don’t try to tell me I am not a number

Second born

First daughter

Number 17 on the little league soccer team

Fourth in rank in my classes

5 feet, 5 inches

165 centimeters

142 pounds

Don’t try to tell me I’m not a number

To make yourself feel better

To sound like a hero -

To those struggling to finish a meal

Don’t try to cover up what is already visible

We are all numbers

Whether we like it or not

Don’t try to tell me I’m not a number
