Numbers

They test my knowledge

of information,

but that's not true wisdom,

just regurgitation.

The heat of my passion

turns water to vapor,

and can't be defined

by mere numbers on paper.

I change like the river,

crash like waves on the shore,

and in so many ways

I am more than a score.
