Numbing Pain's Hope


They portrayed the portal to painless now and I was everyone else in fictitious heaven. Suppressing that which was meant to be dealt with. procrastination. Joy turned to numbed scars until it all fell away and they became opened gashes. ruined. The hopefulness of forgetting via lung destruction until reality hits harder after time flies when it was supposed to be rewound. True pain is feeling after contentment that isn't. By God's grace, healing came when rushed no more.
