Numbness
As I was reaching to taste
A better tomorrow
The sun fades and everythings gone.
Pills the doctor had prescribed wore
Off.
Sleepless nights and screaming hearts, bloodshot eyes and rejections knife.
Numbness,
Tainted my mind like wine on a
white table cloth.
Pain over flow
Flooding gates.
The metaphysical body,
Worn and unable.
And now I drift into

Feeling nothing but numbness
