Nursing

I smile as I walk through the door

This is what I'm suppose to do, I feel it in my core.

Everyday it's something new

Wonderful, exciting, and sometimes heartbreaking too.

Here we laugh, cry and hope

as we try to help our patients cope.

we see everyone at their worst and best

but we are the shoulder to lean on in their time of stress.

we care for so many

Patients, Families, doctors, all and any.

We are nurses

our goal is to try to save you

and not see you put in a hearses.
