As the seasons change,
drops of dust pour from the looming clouds
of asbestos

The transitional breeze from winter to spring holds
that certain smell and weight to it;
the ozone gets excited, too

The scent of Tilex® intensified and transported
by the warm spring air

My stomach feels dizzy;
The unfamiliar springtime song
Overwhelms my ears and lungs
As they suck in the metropolitan
cigarette

The cockroaches make friends
With the discarded crumbs
Pushed aside by the nuclear rumble
Of busy feet

The common cold is as common as the common man
And the homeless men that roam the streets cannot complain
For all of us are all same
Our lowly apartments perceived as colorful cardboard boxes

So, the skyscrapers mingle with the natural changes
and the synthetic structures juxtapose the season junctures
